Appeal for information following graffiti damage to New Mills pub

Police are appealing for information following graffiti damage to the Ye Olde Fox Inn in New Mills.

The graffiti, which was caused to the pub on Brookbottom, is believed to have taken place overnight between 6pm on Saturday, October 26 and midday on Sunday, October 27.

Lee Baker from New Mills and Hayfield Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "We are appealing to the public in the hope that someone may know who is responsible for this damage.

“If anyone has any information about the incident or recognises the tag sign used in the graffiti please contact our team."

Damage was also caused to the property with the leg of the picnic table being broken off.

Anyone with any information relating to this incident is asked to call New Mills and Hayfield Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
