I am Sergeant 2306 Andy Wordsworth and I am responsible for this Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team.

I have been a police officer serving with Derbyshire Constabulary since 1999 and have carried out various frontline roles at Matlock, Buxton and for the last two and a half years in my current role at Bakewell.

I enjoy working closely with communities and people who care about their neighbourhoods. One of our key objectives is to continue to listen to and work closely with our partners, groups and other individuals from the communities which we serve.Through utilising a high visibility, pro-active, customer-focused approach it has enabled us to effectively tackle those who commit crime, or whose behaviour adversely affects the quality of life of local residents. All of my officers will continue to help keep our area a safe place to live, work and visit.

Safer Neighbourhood Meetings

Safer Neighbourhood meetings give you the opportunity to set the agenda in your area and help implement lasting solutions.
