Appeal after jewellery and valuables stolen during a burglary in Duffield

Police are appealing for information after high value jewellery and valuables were stolen from a house in Duffield.

The property, on Wirksworth Road, was broken into sometime between 1.30pm and 4pm on Tuesday, April 15. A number of both ladies and gents watches, two rings, a laptop, an iPod and an iPad were stolen.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen any suspicious vehicles in the area, or who is offered jewellery for sale.

They are also appealing for help to trace two men seen on a pathway which runs alongside Duffield Meadows Primary School, between Meadow Vale and Park Road, at just after 3pm.

Both men are reported to have been dressed casually, wearing jogging bottoms.
