This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Kilburn, Denby, Holbrook and the Parks Estate. It belongs to the Amber Valley policing section. Kilburn is a large village six miles from Derby. The main road, which is the B6179, formerly known as the A61, runs through the centre and actually splits it into two parts at its junction off the Kilburn tollbar crossroads. This is also the dividing line between Denby and Lower Kilburn.

Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeants

Sergeant 2349 Neil Glover is responsible for this Safer Neighbourhood policing team.

I have been a police officer for more than 12 years working in many different roles including as a front line officer in Derby, and in the community safety and the public protection units.

My priorities as a Safer Neighbourhood Sergeant are to target anti-social behaviour and damage and to work with communities to find long-term solutions to issues. We aim to do this by continuing to build upon the strong links officers have with local residents and partnership agencies and by also developing new ones.

Safer Neighbourhood Meetings

Safer Neighbourhood meetings give you the opportunity to set the agenda in your area and help implement lasting solutions.
