It is in effect split into 2 sites, the old village and the new development known as the Links. Its close proximity to the motorway puts it within easy commuting distance of Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham.

I am Sergeant 3409 Matt Troth  and I am responsible for this Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team. I want to make sure that local residents can live, work and feel safe in a community they can be proud of.

I have been a front line police officer since joining the Leicestershire Constabulary, working in both uniformed and plain clothes roles. In 2007 I transferred to Derbyshire and took up my current role in January 2009.

This last year has been both very rewarding and busy, working with officers to obtain ASBOs on conviction, to close down nuisance premises, carryout proactive operations, and achieve priority profiles set by the public. We hope that by listening to the public and working with our partners, that we have made a real difference
