Actions to be taken are as follows:
  • Carry out patrols and arrest anyone caught taking or dealing drugs in this area.

Issue Date:

Actions to be taken are as follows:
  • Patrol the area at the times anti-social behaviour is most common, using high visibility and plain clothed officers.
  • Work with neighbourhood rangers to increase the number of people patrolling the streets
  • Work with the community to find out who the culprits are and deal with them through acceptable behaviour contracts or visits to parents in the first case.
Priority

Reducing alcohol fuelled anti-social behaviour in the centre of Hasland and Eastwood Park

Issue Date:
Issue was set on 20/11/2011
Actions to be taken are as follows:
  • Conduct high visibility patrols on Friday evenings when the anti-social behaviour is taking place to deter offenders and speak to them about their behaviour.
  • Speak to shop owners about the issue of selling alcohol to people who are already intoxicated as this may be making the problem worse.
  • Work with other agencies including the council and the youth service to find long lasting solutions to the problem including alternative evening activities.
