Date change for community litter pick in Mastin Moor

Posted on 15th April 2014

The date for a community litter pick in Mastin Moor has changed.

It will take place between 10am and 2pm on Thursday, April 24 from the Eventide Rest Rooms on Cherry Tree Grove, not Wednesday, April 16 as previously advertised.

Youngsters in Mastin Moor are still invited to take part in the event, which will focus on Lansbury Avenue park.

Officers from the Staveley Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team and staff from the Staveley Multi-Agency Team (MAT) have organised the event, with litter picking equipment provided by Chesterfield Borough Council and the rubbish bags collected by SpirePride.

Refreshments are being offered for those youngsters taking part, donated by the Staveley Multi Agency Team.
