Appeal for information following theft of two high value bikes in Spondon

 Police are appealing for information following the theft of two high value bikes in Derby.

Sometime between 6.00pm on Thursday, March 6 and 4.15pm on Friday, March 7 two bikes were taken from a shed on Locko Road in Spondon.

The first bike is described as a specialised mountain bike, a Rock Hopper Pro, the frame is mainly black with orange and turquoise markings.

The second bike is described as a Giant Defy racer/sports model and is blue and white.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who has information about the theft or been offered a bike matching the description that they believe could be stolen.

PC Luke Scribbins of the Spondon Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team said:“If you have seen either of these bikes for sale or have had any sighting of them please contact our team.”
