Police charge woman in connection with Belper burglaries

Police have charged a woman in connection with a number of burglaries in the Belper area.

Sometime overnight between Sunday, November 23 and Monday, November 24, offenders gained entry into a property on Penn Street in Belper. A Panasonic camera, a mobile phone and a wallet containing cash and bank cards were taken from within.

A handbag, a Radley purse and a set of keys were stolen from a property on Windmill Lane, Belper as offenders gained entry through a downstairs window. The offence took place overnight between Thursday, October 23 and Friday, October 24.

Abigail Margetts (26) of no fixed abode was charged with burglary and appeared before Magistrates in Chesterfield on Saturday, November 29.
