Jewellery, cash and medals stolen during Belper burglary

Police are appealing for information after thieves forced their way into a Duffield home.

Sometime between 8am on Saturday, May 30 and 6pm on Monday, June 1, offenders smashed the conservatory window of a property on Hall Farm Road in Duffield, Belper to gain entry.

Once inside, thieves carried out an untidy search of the home and made off with cash, collectors coins and jewellery, including two pearl style necklaces.

Anyone with any information about the incident, or who may have seen any suspicious activity in the Hall Farm Road area, is asked to contact PC Lindsey Howitt on 101, quoting crime number 23629/15.
