In an emergency always call 999

Police ask residents in the Belper and Heage areas about their concerns

Posted on 11th November 2016

Residents in Belper, Heage, Nether Heage and Ambergate are being invited to meet with their local Safer Neighbourhood policing teams and partnership agencies.

It is a chance for local people to have a say on any issues that are affecting their area and help set priorities for the teams to target.

The Belper Town Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team is holding their meeting at 7pm on Tuesday, November 22 in Room 18, The Strutts Centre, on Derby Road.

For residents in Heage, Nether Heage and Ambergate the meeting will also be held at 7pm on Tuesday, November 22 but at Ambergate Primary School, on Toadmoor Lane.

If you cannot make the meeting but have any concerns or issues that you would like to raise contact the team by calling 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police, or email to belper.neighbourhoods@derbyshire.pnn.police.uk.

Alternatively, you can contact officers and check which team covers your neighbourhood by visiting the website: www.derbyshire.police.uk.

You can also follow both teams on Twitter: @BelperTownSNT and @HeageSNT.

Do you need a quick answer to a general question? Then we recommend you visit the national Ask The Police web site.
