Winning youngster from Langley Mill picks up DCFC prize from the Police Experience

A girl from Langley Mill has been presented with her Derby County FC prize after entering a competition at the Police Experience in Derby.

Ten-year-old Bethany Page came top out of dozens of entries in the ‘Ten Questions about the Police Experience’ quiz at the event at Derby Market Place in June.

She won match day tickets for a DCFC game, kindly donated by the club for the competition, which was presented to her by PC Sarah Allcock on Sunday, August 10.

The Police Experience, which was part of Inspiring Derby week, involved a number of police officers and police staff from different areas displaying their work and providing information on policing in Derbyshire.

All prizes have now been presented to the youngsters who won in competitions.

A nine-year old boy from Burton-on-Trent won the colouring competition, and a six-year-old girl from Heanor and a six-year-old girl from Loscoe came close runners up.  An 11-year-old girl from Derby won the Spot the Thingamabob competition.
