Police host drop-in surgeries for residents in Duffield and Quarndon

Police are inviting residents in Duffield and Quarndon to discuss neighbourhood issues and pick up crime prevention tips.

PCSO Paula Bennett from the area’s Safer Neighbourhood teams is hosting a number of events to meet local residents and offer security advice. 

The surgeries will take place on Monday, March 23, Friday, April 17, Tuesday, May 19 and Friday, June 19. There are also surgeries planned for later in the year which will take place on Wednesday, July 22, Saturday, August 15 and Thursday, September 24.  

These will be held at the following times and locations:

9am - 9.30am:                  Weston Centre carpark on Tamworth Street, Duffield;

9.40am - 10.10am:           Hazelwood Hill in Hazelwood;

10.20am - 10.45am:         Rood Lane in Idridgehay;

11.10am - 11.45am:         Holmes Close car park in Holloway;

1.15pm - 1.45pm:             Church Road in Quarndon;

2pm - 2.30pm:                  Lower Road in Mackworth;

2.45pm - 3.15pm:             Main Road layby in Weston Underwood.  

PCSO Bennett said: “I look forward to meeting local people over the coming months to talk about issues that matter most in their communities. Everyone is welcome attend any of the events to chat in a relaxed and informal environment about any concerns they may have. I will also be able to offer advice around personal, home, vehicle security.”
