In an emergency always call 999

PC joins two Safer Neighbourhood teams in Amber Valley

Posted on 4th June 2015

Residents in Amber Valley are being urged to keep their eyes peeled for PC Andrea Smith who has joined two Safer Neighbourhood beats in the borough.

PC Smith is joining the Duffield, Belper Rural and Holloway team and the Quardon and Kirk Langley beat, alongside Sergeant Simon Street and PCSO Paula Bennett. She is taking over the role from PC Dave Chambers who recently retired.

She is also a member of the Heage, Nether Heage and Ambergate team with colleagues Sergeant Street and PCSO Scott Hunt.

PC Smith said: “This is an exciting new venture for me and I am looking forward to getting to know the local communities and working alongside my colleagues, residents and key partner agencies to tackle issues that matter.

“I would encourage anyone who sees me out and about on patrol to come and say hello and have a chat about any local concerns they may have.

“Anyone who would like to speak to their local officers, please give us a call using the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police, 101.”
