Appeal after garden ornaments are stolen in Heage

Police are appealing for information after a number of garden ornaments were stolen in Heage.

The items include a statue of a West Highland Terrier dog, bought in memory of the victims own pet dog when it died, and seven solar powered ornaments made up of a mixture of meerkats, birds and a wasp.

It is believed they were stolen sometime overnight between Friday, August 1 and Saturday, August 2 from the garden of a house on Eagle Street.
