Officers in Heage on hand to offer advice and crime prevention tips at upcoming surgeries

Residents across Heage, Nether Heage, Ambergate and the surrounding areas are being invited to meet and chat to local police.

Officers from the Heage Safer Neighbourhood Team are set to host a number of police surgeries in the coming weeks to discuss community issues with local people, offer crime prevention advice and tips on home, vehicle and personal security. 

A mobile police surgery is taking place on Sunday, June 21 at various locations throughout the area:

• Riverside Garage, Derby Road, Ambergate   10am to 10.20am;

• Canal Inn Car Park, Kinder Crescent, Bullbridge  10.30am to 11am;

• Sawmills Village Hall, Sawmills    11.10am to 11.30am;

• George Inn Car Park, Lower Hartsay   11.40am to 12pm;

• The Spanker Car Park, Nether Heage   1.30pm to 2pm;

• Park Road, opposite the Windmill Pub   2.10pm to 2.30pm;

• Street Lane, near the Durham Ox    2.40pm to 3pm.

Another police surgery is set to take place on Tuesday, July 14 between 6.30pm and 7.30pm at Ambergate chip shop on Toadmoor Lane in Ambergate.
