Police appeal after damage is caused to vehicle at Heanor football match

Officers from the Heanor Safer Neighbourhood Team are appealing for information after damage was caused to a vehicle following an Under 16's football match.

A motorist returned to the carpark at Heanor Lions Football Club on Pit Lane, Shipley to find that sticks and stones had been thrown at their vehicle causing damage to the windscreen and car bonnet.

The damage to the silver coloured Vauxhall Signum is believed to have taken place sometime between 10.30am and 12.15pm on Saturday, May 2.

Police are asking anyone with any information, or who may have seen someone acting suspiciously around the vehicle, to get in touch.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PCSO Courtney Chetwyn on 101, quoting crime number 18340/15.
