Heanor van - Graffiti

Officers from the Heanor and Loscoe Safer Neighbourhood Team are appealing for information after damage was caused to a vehicle in the area.

Sometime over the weekend between 9pm on Friday, May 15 and 8.15am on Monday, May 18, vandals used spray paint to graffiti along the side of a red Volkswagen Transporter van.

The van was parked along Longbridge Lane in Heanor between the times of the incident.

Similar graffiti was also found sprayed on a wall nearby.

PCSO Jenny Lorimer from the team said: "We are appealing to anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area last weekend to contact us.

"We are also asking anyone who recognises the tag that has been sprayed on the vehicle as this can help us to trace those responsible for causing the damage."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PCSO Jenny Lorimer on 101, quoting crime number 20768/15, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
