Posted on 16th April 2015

Police in Kilburn are heading out on the road to host a number of crime prevention surgeries for residents in the area.

Officers from the village’s Safer Neighbourhood team will be out and about throughout the day on Friday, April 24 to give residents the chance to raise any issues with them.

PC Neil Hopwell and PCSO John Midgley will be heading out at the following times and locations:

• From 10am – Kilburn beat office on Bown Close, Kilburn
• From 10.45am – One Stop Shop on Derby Road, Denby
• From 11.30am – Holbrook Stores
• From 12.15pm – Parks Estate Stores
• From 1pm – Milford Stores

PC Hopwell said: “We hope to see as many local people as possible throughout the day. The events are an opportunity for residents to speak to us about any neighbourhood concerns that they may have in a relaxed environment.

“We’ll also be able to offer crime prevention advice to residents, to help them boost personal, vehicle and home security.”
