Two arrested following drugs warrant in Ripley

Two people have been arrested following a police warrant in Ripley.

Officers executed a warrant under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act at a property on Heath Road in Ripley on Wednesday, June 10. A quantity of suspected Class A drugs was seized as a result of the warrant.

A 43-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

They have since been bailed pending further police enquiries.
