Anti-social behaviour in Ripley town centre and the surrounding areas

Actions to be taken are as follows:
  • Regular high visibility patrols to deter anti-social behaviour.
  • Continue to support the local authority and utilise Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO).
  • Deal with individuals acting in an anti-social manner accordingly.
  • Seize alcohol from anybody under the age of 18.
  • Issue fixed penalty tickets to the individuals purchasing alcohol for under 18s.
  • Continue working in partnership with the local authority and other agencies to implement long term solutions.

Insecure vehicles being targeted overnight in the Ripley area

  • Uniformed and plain clothes patrol in the evenings and early hours.
  • Informing the public via social media, leaflets and face to face not to leave vehicles insecure and to check they are secure in the evening.
