Officers set up shop to help set neighbourhood priorities in South Normanton

Posted on 10th June 2015

Residents living in South Normanton and Pinxton are being encouraged to help shape policing priorities in their community at an upcoming event.

The South Normanton and Pinxton Safer Neighbourhood Team will be setting up shop at the Co-Operative Store on High Street, South Normanton to host an open day for local people.

Between 10am and 3pm on Friday, June 19, residents are being encouraged to visit the store to chat to their local officers about any community concerns such as speeding and anti-social behaviour.

They will then use the feedback to help set their policing priorities for the areas over the next few months.

During the day, officers will also be on hand to offer crime prevention advice, such as boosting home and garden security over the summer months.

If you would like to raise an issue with the team but cannot attend on the day, call 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
