I am Sergeant 2387 Matt Adams and I am responsible for this Safer Neighbourhood policing team.

I have been a police officer for more than 16 years, and have been a Sergeant for the last 10 years my service. I have worked in several areas including Derby city centre, Chaddesden, Long Eaton, Ripley, Dronfield and Clay Cross.

I took up my current position in November 2016 and I am responsible for the newly formed Chesterfield North Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, covering local policing bases at Newbold and Staveley.

My priorities are to reduce anti-social behaviour and crime, alongside a commitment to provide a high quality service to the public by ensuring my teams are visible, approachable and work alongside partner agencies to target problems affecting the local community.
