Posted on 1st June 2017

Officers from the Chesterfield Town Centre Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team are working with a local bank to offer advice on how to stay safe and prevent fraud.

They are supporting a fraud awareness event being held at Natwest, on Market Place, on Tuesday, June 6 from 9am until 12 noon.

Team Sgt. Dave Nicholls said: “Officers from my team will be in the branch as part of the event held by Natwest which we have been asked to support.

“We will be on hand to speak to people about any issues and concerns and will also have advice and information available on how you can help reduce the risk of becoming a victim of fraud.”
