Chesterfield shoppers are being invited to pick up safety advice on a range of topics from home and shed security to online shopping safety, at a pop-up shop in the town.

The Chesterfield Town Centre Safer Neighbourhood Team will be hosting the event at Unit 4 on Vicar Lane in Chesterfield on Monday, March 27.

The team will be setting up shop between 10am and 2pm to chat to people about the steps that they can take to protect themselves from becoming a victim of crime.

PCSO Hayley Grundy from the town’s Safer Neighbourhood team said: “The team and I will be hosting the event in the town centre so that shoppers can pop in and pick up safety advice or voice any concerns with us that they may have.

“We will be offering advice on a range of crime prevention topics, from shopping safety, to home and shed security, and online cyber safety, so please do call in to see us.

“I look forward to seeing you there on Monday!”
