A series of activities set up for teens in Poolsbrook and Duckmanton for the school summer holidays have proved to be popular.
Three sessions, which included karaoke, disco and martial arts, were arranged by the local Safer Neighbourhood policing team to take place during August.
A total of fifty eight to 16 year old youngsters turned up to the events which were organised by PCSO Janis Naylor and paid for by local councillors and Staveley Town Council.
They took place at Poolsbrook and Duckmanton Miners Welfare, on Thursdays, August 3 and 10, and Friday, August 18.
The team hope to organise more sessions during the next few months.
