School summer holiday activities set up for youngsters in Poolsbrook and Duckmanton

A series of karaoke, disco, martial arts and keep fit sessions have been set up during the school summer holidays for youngsters in Poolsbrook and Duckmanton.

They have been organised by PCSO Janis Naylor of the local Safer Neighbourhood policing team and paid for by councillors.

The sessions will take place on:

  • Thursday, August 3: Karaoke/disco, 6pm- 7.30pm, at Poolsbrook Miners Welfare Room
  • Thursday, August 10: Karaoke/disco, 6pm-7.30pm, at Duckmanton Miners Welfare Club
  • Friday, August 18: Martial arts/keep fit, 6.30pm-7.25pm, at Duckmanton Miners Welfare Club

All the events are free but youngsters need to be over eight years of age.
