Information appeal after a vehicle window is smashed in Chesterfield

Police are appealing for information after a car window was smashed in a Chesterfield car park.

At around 10am on Thursday, November 6, a brick was used to smash the rear windscreen of a vehicle that was parked in The Court House car park on Tapton Lane, Chesterfield.

A bank card was also taken from the red coloured Vauxhall Corsa.

Officers are urging witnesses to come forward who saw a man wearing a distinctive grey coloured hoody with the words ‘young offender’ written in bold, white writing across the front.

Anyone with any information about the incident, of who may have seen a man matching the description above, is asked to contact PC Gemma Sykes on 101, quoting crime number 47022/14.
