 Chesterfield police appeal to trace owners of discovered cable  

Police in Chesterfield are appealing for information after a quantity of industrial cable was discovered by patrolling officers in the area.

Officers from the Staveley Safer Neighbourhood Team were carrying out patrols on Tuesday, October 8 when they came across around 20 metres of cable that appeared to have been cut up for scrap.

Police are appealing for the owners of the cable to come forward.

Anyone with any information about the cable is asked to contact PC Adam Case on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
