Police in Staveley are appealing for information after a car’s paintwork was damaged by a corrosive type substance.

The incident happened sometime overnight between Wednesday, October 1 and Thursday, October 2 on Hayfield Close.

It is believed a liquid was poured or splashed on the roof, bonnet and panels to a Renault Clio, which has taken off and stained the paintwork.
