I am Sergeant 2475 Darran Clarke and I am responsible for this Safer Neighbourhood policing team.

I first became a police officer in May 2001 and have worked in uniformed roles in the Bolsover, Chesterfield, Clay Cross, Dronfield, Killamarsh and Amber Valley area.

I took up my current position in August 2017 and I am responsible for the Safer Neighbourhood policing teams which cover the south Chesterfield area, including Chesterfield Town Centre, Hasland and St. Leonards, Holmebrook and Rother and Walton and West.

My aim is to ensure myself and my officers are a visible and reassuring presence in the area and to continue to make Chesterfield a safe and pleasant place to visit, work and live by engaging with partner agencies to tackle violent crime, theft, drug abuse and anti-social behaviour.
