Police appeal following attempted robbery at Barrow Hill store

Police are appealing for information following an alleged attempted robbery at a shop in Barrow Hill, Chesterfield.

At around 5.45pm on Monday, December 5, a man entered a store on Station Road in Barrow Hill. He threatened staff and demanded money from the cashiers.

Another shop worker then chased the man out of the store and he ran off empty handed.

The offender was described as being white and short. He wore a dark Nike hoody with a dark scarf across his face, dark jogging bottoms and Adidas trainers with a white stripe.

Officers investigating the alleged attempted robbery are asking anyone with information to contact them.
