Officers in Ashbourne want to hear your views on neighbourhood policing

Posted on 7th October 2014

Residents living in Ashbourne and the surrounding villages are invited to help set the policing profile for their community.

Officers from the Ashbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team will be hosting their next priority meeting from 10am on Friday, October 17.

The meeting, which is set to take place at the Town Hall on Market Place, Ashbourne, is a chance for local residents to raise concerns about crime in their area with the team.

Police will then set neighbourhood priorities to focus on for the following three months, based on feedback from the public.

The current priorities for the area are anti-social behaviour around the leisure centre and Ashbourne Town Centre, along with preventing theft from sheds and garages.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to put forward any issues contact your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
