The Ashbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team will be heading out on the beat next week to help shoppers to stay safe this Christmas.

PCSO Joanne Dales and PCSO David Seabridge will be teaming up to host a number of Christmas crime prevention events at shops in the town.

The officers will be visiting Waitrose on Tuesday, December 20, the Co-operative Store on Wednesday, December 21, and Sainsbury’s on Thursday, December 22. The events will run between 10am and 12noon each day.

PCSO Dales and Seabridge will be on hand to offer advice to shoppers about the steps that they can take to protect themselves and their valuables from being targeted by criminals over the festive season.

They will be offering crime prevention advice around boosting safety at home and whilst out shopping, along with encouraging residents to remain vigilant and to report suspicious activity.
