People living in Bakewell will be able to ask Derbyshire’s first Police and Crime Commissioner, Alan Charles, about his role at the town’s Neighbourhood Watch AGM.

The meeting is due to be held at Bakewell Town Hall from 7pm on Wednesday, May 1, and will include important updates from the Neighbourhood Watch.

Bakewell Safer Neighbourhood Team will also be attending, along with Inspector Bryan Hall, who is in charge of policing in the Derbyshire Dales.

The county’s PCC, Alan Charles, will also be appearing to speak about the work he and his office will be doing and how it affects members of the public.

The meeting is open to the public and is a useful way for people to find out about crime prevention issues in their neighbourhood.

For more information, call Bakewell Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101.
