Reminder for Bakewell residents to meet Police Commissioner

Posted on 29th April 2013

Bakewell residents are being reminded about the town's upcoming Neighbourhood Watch AGM, which will include a guest appearance from Police and Crime Commissioner Alan Charles.

The meeting will be held at Bakewell Town Hall from 7pm on Wednesday, May 1. It is a chance for residents to find out about policing issues and the work of the Neighbourhood Watch in their area.

Mr Charles, Derbyshire's first Police and Crime Commissioner, will also be talking about his role, the force's overall performance and crime issues across the county during the visit.

The meeting is open to the public and will also be attended by Bakewell Safer Neighbourhood Team and Inspector Bryan Hall, who is in charge of policing in the Derbyshire Dales.

For more information, call the Safer Neighbourhood team on 101.
