Three men arrested in connection with theft from vehicle in Bakewell

Officers have arrested three men in connection with theft from a vehicle in Little Longstone, Bakewell.

Police received a report from a resident living in Little Longstone that the headlights had been stolen from their vehicle that was parked outside a property on Main Street.

The victim was alerted to the incident after hearing the alarm of their blue Land Rover Discovery being activated.

A search was carried out by responding officers which subsequently saw a vehicle being stopped and the alleged stolen headlights were recovered.

The incident took place at around 12.40am on Wednesday, May 14.

Three men aged 18, 21 and 30-years-old have been arrested for suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle. All have been released on bail pending further investigation.
