Information appeal following Bakewell burglary

Police in Bakewell are appealing for information following a burglary in the area.

At around 2.55am on Monday, June 9, the White Lion public house on Main Street, Great Longstone was broken into.

Thieves forced open the first floor rear window of the property and stole cash and a bank card from within. It is believed that the offenders made off after alerting the intruder alarm.

Officers are urging homeowners to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity in the area to police.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
