Posted on 25th June 2015

Officers from the Bakewell Safer Neighbourhood Team are appealing for information after damage was caused at a local school.

Over the weekend between 6.30pm on Friday, June 19 and 7am on Monday, June 22, vandals climbed over the gates of Bakewell C of E Infant School on Bath Street, Bakewell to gain entry to the grounds.

Once inside, damage was caused to two benches and a balance beam by what is believed to have been caused by skate boards being ridden on them.

Officers from the policing team are asking anyone who may have seen anyone on the school grounds over the weekend, to get in touch.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PCSO Anthony Boswell on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting crime number 26188/15.
