Advice letters to be sent to motorists after Froggatt Speedwatch

Posted on 11th February 2013

Police will be sending warning letters to three motorists who were clocked breaking the speed limit in Froggatt.

Officers from Hathersage Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out the Community Speedwatch event on a 30mph stretch of the A625 through the village.

Between noon and 12.30pm on Thursday, February 7, three of the total cars clocked were breaking the speed limit.

They will now be sent letters advising them of the limits and that they may face three points and a fine if they are caught speeding in future.
