Information appeal following burglaries in Hathersage and Bamford

Police are appealing for information following two break-ins and an attempted burglary in Hathersage and Bamford.

Sometime between 5pm on Thursday, December 4 and 8am on Friday, December 5, offenders forced open the window of a unit at the High Peak Garden Centre on Hope Road in Bamford.

Once inside, two cash tins and a float tin were stolen from within. (CR/51479/14)

On the same night, offenders broke into another unit on the High Peak Garden Centre premises.

It is believed that offenders drilled the lock from the door to gain entry and carried out an untidy search. It is not yet known exactly what was stolen. (CR/51461/14)  

Sometime between 6.15pm on Thursday, December 4 and 5am on Friday, December 5, offenders attempted to gain entry to the Outdoor Centre on Main Road, Hathersage.

Offenders smashed the glass on the door of the premises and caused damage to the metal shutter, however no entry was gained. (CR/51500/14)
