Hathersage officers want to hear your views on neighbourhood policing

Posted on 18th June 2014

Residents living in Hathersage and the surrounding areas are being encouraged to have their say on local policing at the upcoming governance meeting.

Officers from the Hathersage Safer Neighbourhood Team are hosting the meeting to give people the opportunity to chat to the team and to raise any issues or concerns that they may have for their area.

The Safer Neighbourhood governance meeting will take place between 2pm and 4pm on Friday, June 27 and will be held at Bakewell Enquiry Office on Granby Road, Bakewell.

The governance meetings give people the chance to set the policing profile for their community for the next three months by highlighting issues for the team to focus on.

The policing team will also be on hand to offer crime prevention advice, chat to residents and listen to their views on policing in their neighbourhood.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to put forward any issues contact your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
