Posted on 19th June 2014

Police are appealing for information after vehicles were damaged and broken into outside a property in Calver.

Between 12.30pm and 1.30pm on Thursday, June 12, offenders targeted three vehicles that were parked outside a property on Grindleford Road in Calver, Hope Valley.

Thieves smashed the window of a white Ford Transit van and stole a Milwaukee power saw from within, and a sat-nav and cash were taken from the glove box of a silver Nissan pickup.

A tyre on both of the vehicles had been sliced by a sharp instrument, along with the tyre of a green Ford pickup that was also parked outside the property.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact PC Ian Richardson on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.

To report a crime anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
