PCSO Anthony Boswell from the Hathersage Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “We’re urging local motorbike owners to step up security in the wake of these crimes. People can follow some simple steps to boost security including installing alarms and secondary locks such as a disc lock, chain or cable lock.

“We’d also encourage people to consider using ground anchors or a garage where possible to extra protect their vehicles and have their vehicles security marked to help in a situation where they may be lost or stolen.”

Anyone with information about the above crimes is urged to contact PCSO Boswell on the 101 number, quoting the crime reference numbers above.
