Officers from the Hathersage Safer Neighbourhood Team will be taking to the road to host their second Land Rover security marking event following last weekend's success.
PCSO Anthony Boswell from the local policing team will be visiting Bradwell Fire Station between 12noon and 3pm on Saturday, April 25.
4x4 owners are being invited along on the day to have their vehicles security marked for free with SmartWater to help to further protect them from thieves.
SmartWater is a forensic based security marking fluid that can be used on property from bikes, electrical items and jewellery to help deter criminals. Marking items with security kits such as SmartWater can improve the chances of police returning any items if they are stolen and recovered.
Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service will also be holding an open day and recruitment drive on the day as part of a joint initiative.
The policing team hosted their first Land Rover marking event on Saturday, April 18 which saw over 16 vehicles being marked up with SmartWater.
PCSO Anthony Boswell from the Hathersage Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "Our first Land Rover marking day was a success with motorists driving over from areas such as Glossop, Ashbourne and Sheffield to have their vehicles security marked.
"We hope to see many 4x4 owners at the event on Saturday to take steps to protect their vehicles from criminals.
"We will also be on hand to chat to residents about any neighbourhood concerns that they may have, along with offering further crime prevention advice."
