Information appeal following barn break-in in Hathersage

Police investigating a non-dwelling burglary in Hathersage are appealing for information.

Two strimmer’s and a chainsaw were stolen after thieves gained entry into a barn at a farm in Hathersage by cutting through a padlock.

The incident is believed to have taken place overnight between 7pm on Tuesday, February 17 and 7.30am on Wednesday, February 18.

Anyone with any information about the incident, or who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area, is asked to contact PC Fiona Whitwell on 101, quoting crime number 6993/15.
