Safer Neighbourhood officers are set to host a Street Meet in Shirley to help residents to better protect their properties from thieves.

PCSO David Seabridge from the Marston and Clifton Safer Neighbourhood Team will be visiting the village next month to give residents to opportunity to pick up security advice and raise any concerns with him.

PCSO Seabridge will be visiting Shirley Parish Church on Thursday, November 10 between 6pm and 8pm.

He said: “I am really looking forward to visiting Shirley to meet with residents and offer advice.

“I will be on hand to speak to people about improving their personal, home and vehicle security to help to further protect themselves from crime over the winter months, along with answering any questions that they may have.

“I look forward to seeing you there.”

To speak to the Marston and Clifton Safer Neighbourhood Team call 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
