Appeal and reassurance offered following report of indecent exposure in Doveridge

We would like to appeal for information, and offer reassurance to residents and visitors, following an alleged indecent exposure in Doveridge.

Our officers were called to a report of a man exposing himself to a 19 year old woman at a beach area of the River Dove, in Doveridge.

The incident happened between around 5.50pm and 6.10pm on Sunday, July 8.

A 53 year old man from Uttoxeter was arrested near to the area, and later released. He was questioned by officers who are continuing their inquiries.

Officers from the Marston and Clifton Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team are reassuring residents that no further incidents have been reported at that location, and to contact police if they notice any suspicious activity.
