Police and PCC Street Meet tour for Mappleton, Snelston, Alkmonton and Cubley

Officers from our local Safer Neighbourhood policing teams are taking to the road to offer residents advice and a chance to chat about issues in the Ashbourne area.

They will be bringing the mobile police station to Mappleton, Snelston, Alkmonton and Cubley on Friday, November 16 for the ‘Street Meets’.

People will be able to drop by and speak to their team, and pick up advice on safety and security.

Officers will be joined Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Hardyal Dhindsa as he joins officers on the tour to give people the chance to speak to him about any concerns.

The team will be at: 

  • Mappleton- near to parish church and Okeover Arms: 1.30pm -2pm
  • Snelston- Church Road, near to parish church and monument: 2.30pm - 3pm
  • Alkmonton- Long Lane, near St Johns church: 3.30pm - 3.45pm
  • Cubley- Derby Lane, near the The Mary Clowes Hall: 4pm - 4.30pm
