Matlock residents encouraged to set local policing priorities

Posted on 20th August 2014

Residents living in Matlock and the surrounding areas are invited to attend the upcoming priority meeting to discuss any issues affecting their community.

Safer Neighbourhood officers will be hosting the meeting from Matlock police station on Bank Road, Matlock on Wednesday, September 3. The meeting will run from 5.30pm.

Residents from the Safer Neighbourhood areas of Matlock, Matlock Bath, Cromford and Bonsall, Darley Dale and Winster are invited to attend to raise any concerns for their community.

The policing team will then focus on combating the issues and will keep residents informed with their work to tackle the crimes.

Officers from the team will also be on hand to offer crime prevention advice and encourage residents to take steps to further protect themselves from becoming a victim of crime.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to put forward any issues contact your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
